Independent Oversight
A build managed without independent oversight is only as trustworthy as the builder's self-assessment.
Independent inspection is not a bureaucratic requirement — it is what turns a quality claim into a record you can check. When a milestone is reviewed by someone other than the team that built it, you get a written stage record rather than only the builder's own assurance.
Four Inspection Points
Nothing progresses until it’s signed off.
Each inspection is conducted by an independent third party — not our own team — at the four critical stages where structural integrity cannot be verified once work has progressed.
Foundation & Footing Inspection
Before concrete is poured, the footing configuration is inspected against the structural drawings. Reinforcement type, placement and coverage are verified. If anything does not match, it is rectified before the pour proceeds.
Frame Inspection
The structural frame is inspected before any cladding or lining is applied. Framing members, connections, bracing and waterproofing are checked against documentation. Nothing is covered until sign-off is received.
Lock-Up Inspection
At lock-up stage, the external envelope is complete. Windows, external doors, roofing and wall cladding are inspected. Weatherproofing and flashing details are verified before internal work progresses.
Pre-Handover Defect Inspection
A full defect inspection is conducted before the project is formally handed over. Any item identified is rectified before keys are transferred. The inspection record is included in your handover documentation package.
Why Independent
The same team can't inspect its own work.
When a builder inspects only its own construction, self-assessment is doing all the work — however honest the intent. Cyberidge uses third-party inspectors at the key structural stages defined in the contract. Their role is to record what they find, not to clear the build so work can continue. The resulting inspection records are provided to the client with the handover documentation.

Clients are welcome to visit at any stage of construction — we will show you what is happening and explain what you are looking at. TAFE SA also runs on-site student training on our active builds, so our sites are organised and safe enough to teach on.
